Superheated steam enters an adiabatic turbine at a flow rate of 500 kg/sec, a pressure of 6 MPa, a temperature of 600 (degrees C), and a velocity of 30 m/sec. The saturated steam leaves the turbine at a pressure of 8 kPa, a quality of 95%, and a velocity of 100 m/sec. Compute: (a) the kinetic energy change (in kJ/kg), (b) the specific enthalpy change (in kJ/kg), (c) the power supplied by the turbine (in kW), (d) the reversible power supplied by the turbine (in KW), and (e) the thermodynamic efficiency of the turbine (in %).
