TOPIC THAT NEEDS TO BE USED AND ADDRESSED IN BOTH ESSAYS ARE BASED ON ME BEING A FILM MAJOR

For each paper, you will:

  • Select a researchable audience with a vested interest in your ethical problem who either disagrees with you or hasn’t taken a stance on the issue, and

2. Try to persuade your audience to adopt a different stance on the issue through effective presentation and explanation of research, and rhetorical strategies.

Before you start writing, you will submit an outline for each essay that identifies your researchable audience, and demonstrates how you will organize information effectively. In some cases, you may be able to use the same audience for both papers. You’ll find that professional associations, unions, research institutions, etc. often take a stance on major ethical debates and make that knowledge publicly available—usually on their website or in one of their publications. Additionally, you need to cite at least one article from a peer-reviewed journal in each paper.
